The Kleen-Air King II air purifier delivers ozone at a controlled rate into the ambient air.  There, it attaches itself to airborne and surface organic matter, destroys them, and then back to pure oxygen. By literally oxidizing impurities in the air, the ozone destroys mild mold and fungi. It works quickly, with significant results appearing within the first hour of operation.  This unit can be used for household or commercial applications. The 24 hour trip timer allows you to control on or off cycles in 15 minute increments. I personally began using this unit in my cattery several years ago, and have it timed to cycle on for 15 minutes every 1 1/2 hours. You can also place the unit in freshly painted areas, and the odors will be gone in 2 hours of operation. Also removes cigarette and cooking odors very well. Specifications:

Ozone is 1.7 grams per hour maximum, that is controlled by duration of operation. Less ozone is produced if the unit is run at smaller time intervals. THE MAXIMUM time the unit should be run in a confined space that contains animals (cattery as an example) is 15 minutes every hour. Foul smelling rooms or basements can have the unit run full time for hours to remove mold or musty smells, paint odors, etc., as long as all animals are removed from the room.
